Elevate Your Style: Embracing Stylish Fashion Trends"

We would not recommend following fashion trends. In fact, we
pride ourselves on doing just the opposite. But if you're looking to bring a
little freshness to your wardrobe or want to spice up your everyday pieces,
it's worth paying attention to what's going on in the often confusing world of
clothing.
This is not a list of instant, one-time trends. Rather, we
decided to focus on future classics that are now in the spotlight. These are
the fashion pieces that we would wear ourselves - they are easy to incorporate
into your existing wardrobe and will stay stylish for years to come.
From a return to military style to continued relaxed
silhouettes, these are the hottest menswear trends this year.

Key Trends Spring/Summer
Polo shirts are always a good option for summer. From the
classic pique tennis style to modern open-necked versions, polo shirts are easy
to wear and pair well with shorts, chinos, and just about anything you wear
them.
However, this season, button polo is at the peak of
popularity. Slightly dressy with a placket that mimics a dress shirt,
button-down polo shirts are perfect for a night out or to soften up the cut for
a Riviera touch.
Varsity jackets have been cool for a century. Cropped all
over the body, with ribbed edges and cuffs, they have always been part of the
preppy style. Think jeans, loafers, crisp white t-shirts and black Wayfarer
sunglasses.
And since they were originally designed to showcase baseball
and football team badges, they're also an easy way to add some color to your
summer wardrobe. A variety of brands have been selling them this spring/summer,
including Louis Vuitton and Dior, but some of the best varsity jackets can be
found in vintage stores, so go looking.
The workwear trend has been around for quite some time and
it is unlikely to disappear any time soon. The problem is, flannel shirts, work
jackets, and rugged combat pants are best for the fall/winter months.
So how do you mend your work clothes in the summer? The
answer is a service vest. These multi-pocket, zippered garments are typically
reserved for fishermen, hikers, or smugglers in a galaxy far, far away. But if
you want to add a touch of functional style to your summer platform, it will
serve you well.
Cardigans always get a bad rap, mostly because of their
sultry hue and the fact that they are your grandma's favorite knit. But at
least this spring/summer, a few designers decided to reinvent the look with an
oversized silhouette that any 90s grunge kid would be proud of.
With dropped shoulders and a slightly longer length, you can
consider this style of cardigan as a replacement for a lightweight jacket,
perfect for keeping warm on chilly spring evenings.
