this way you can hair your hair (almost) painlessly with sugar paste

With sugar paste, you can remove hair almost without pulling, even in sensitive regions. Here are instructions, tips, and a DIY recipe for the sugaring paste

You want the hair on your legs and armpits gone, but you don't feel like shaving all the time? Waxing and epilation aren't for you either? Then you should pay close attention now.

There is a less painful variant of hair removal that lasts for weeks and is (almost) as harmless as it is called: sugaring. We explain how to do this here.  bolts.answerhop

What is sugaring?

Sugaring - behind the sweet term is a depilatory method with sugar paste. The paste contains only two ingredients: sugar and lemon juice. Both are heated together in a bit of water and mixed into a caramel-like mass.  tc-bolts.dyifo

While it is still warm - but not hot - it is kneaded into a ball with the hands and then pressed smoothly onto the skin against the direction of hair growth. It is pulled off again with jerky movements with your fingers. Sugaring works in a like way to waxing, only with the small but subtle difference that the hair is pulled off in the direction of growth.

What are the benefits of sugaring? techqueer

Sugaring has earned its sweet name: Since the hair is pulled out in the direction of growth, the procedure is much less painful than waxing. Also, the glucose molecules in the sugar and the fructose molecules in the lemon are so small that they can penetrate the hair follicle and the hair's surface. The hair adheres exceptionally well to the paste and can be removed quickly and thoroughly without breaking off. Annoying body hair is removed thoroughly without tugging too hard.

In addition, the sweet mass is much more pleasant for the skin. While wax often sticks to the skin and has to be pulled off with a brutal ratchet, the sugar paste dissolves much more quickly. Not only does this hurt less, but it is also less irritating to the skin. You can't feel more than a gentle peeling effect. Ideal if you want to remove hair in sensitive areas such as the bikini line or armpits.

Last but not least: the hair grows thinner and softer with each use. This, in turn, makes the removal less and less painful.

Which parts of the body can sugaring be used on?

All over. From the legs to the upper lip. Sugaring is generally considered to be the most compatible method for long-lasting hair removal.

For this reason, many studios even only offer hair removal in the genital area with sugaring. By the way: men find these intimate hairstyles sexy on women.

Does the hair have to be a confident length before use?

There's the big catch: for the hair to stick well to the wax, it needs a certain length. Half a centimeter is ideal.  bacobolts.yictic

How can I do sugaring myself?

Another advantage of the sugar trick is that it is straightforward to use at home. You even make the ingredients yourself. Here we explain it to you step by step:

Before you start, you should wash the area to be depilated and dry it thoroughly

Heat the sugar paste in a cup in a water bath until it can be easily shaped

Use your fingers to form a ball about 2 cm thick out of the sugar paste

Use your fingers to flatten the paste against the direction of hair growth on the skin

Then you press a handkerchief or kitchen towel on it and pull it off in the order of development at lightning speed

Some women do without cloths and peel off the paste directly with their fingers

You repeat this process a few times - et voilá, the smooth result is ready

How do I care for the skin afterward?

Rewash the hair-free area with water. Then you can alleviate baby powder (from 1.25 €) or a mild unscented body lotion to apply. An after-shave lotion like this one (from € 33.10) is also ideal.

Can I make the sugar paste myself?

Sugar pastes can be bought ready-made in drugstores and online. We recommend the high quality paste from Vee. If you want to save some money and are in the mood for a small DIY project, you can easily do it yourself.

What you need:

200 g of sugar

10 ml of water

This is how it works:  Put all the ingredients in a coated pan or saucepan, mix and heat in a controlled manner on a low level. Let the mixture simmer and stir again and again. Tip: use a wooden spoon. Metal heats up quickly and burns your fingers.

As soon as bubbles form in the pot, briefly remove the pot from the stove and stir. Reheat and remove until a firm, yellow pas
